"The Batman" to go before cameras in January

Several media outlets are reporting that "The Batman" finally has a production date, heading across the pond to London. The reports target January 13th, 2020 as the start of production but little other details were released. Robert Pattison, the "Twilight" star created an internet firestorm when he was announced as the new Dark KNight a few months ago. He has reporteldy signed a three-picture deal with WB for a new Batman Trilogy, the first since Christopher Nolan's epic outing which culminated with The Dark Knight Rises in 2012.

"War for the Planet of the Apes" director Matt Reeves will be behind the camera and it is suggested that he will film all three filma back to back.

The first of the new Batman trilogy blasts on to the screen in June 2021.
