Torture is sticking razor blades under somebody's finger nails to obtain information they would otherwise never divulge. Pretending to hold someone hostage simply to rescue somebody is not, never has been and never will be "torture".

Then again, I get the impression that you might be afraid to know how far I'd be willing to go if I was in Dent's shoes.
I'm not scared of the truth.  I'm well aware of how dark some people's souls are.  If you want to indulge how far you'd be willing to go, be my guest.  Just pray that if you ever do commit a crime you get the same jury as Fred Zimmermann.  ;)
You mean George?

Either way, I'm not too concerned about it. I live in a state where self-defense and gun laws are pretty lax. Those facts alone tend to keep most of the riffraff in line. For everything else, there's my shotgun collection.
Sorry, I meant George.  ;D on the shotgun collection.  I truly hope it doesn't every come to that for everyone's sake including your own.
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

I hope it doesn't come to that only for my home's sake. I'll have to do a lot of painting which is a pain in the neck. Probably have to replace carpet too which is no bueno.

I disagree, I think that would have made the film feel bloated. Then again, I've never liked any comic book movie which had multiple main villains all at once, with the exception of Batman Returns (and even Returns had deprived Batman from a bit of screen time than I would have liked).

You misunderstood, Harvey would be a good guy in this, not a villain.

Argh! You're right, you said Harvey Dent would be Batman's ally against the Joker. My apologies, I didn't read your reply properly.  :-[
QuoteJonathan Nolan: He [Batman] has this one rule, as the Joker says in The Dark Knight. But he does wind up breaking it. Does he break it in the third film?

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.

I think of it like this. If someone had kidnapped Grace, BTAS Harvey would've been absolutely scary in terms of what he would do to anybody he thought was standing in his way.
Yep. The BTAS Dent had a deep seated rage when his buttons were pushed. I respect the guy in this regard, cos I know where he's coming from. Absolutely crazy.

Weird, I didn't think to close the loop on this. BTAS Harvey snapped when some lowlife kicked mud on him. TDK Harvey though would've made a joke out of it. I put BTAS Harvey in TDK Harvey's shoes so why not do vice versa?

Some nobody crook kicks mud on TDK Harvey and he'd most likely say soemthing like "Oops, time to drop this off at the dry cleaners. And you probably thought mudslinging only happened during elections, lulz" and other stuff. He'd find a way to turn it into a quippy, good PR moment. What he wouldn't do is lose his $#!+ over it and assault some nobody on TV like BTAS Harvey did.

The BTAS Harvey/Two Face cemented my respect for the character. When he's handled like this, he really is neck and neck with The Joker. The bad side will almost every time win out, but it's those slithers of goodness that give Batman hope.

This angry ant stuff re-emerged but it was always there - which is a big positive in my book. Just as Bruce Banner is The Hulk and The Hulk is Bruce Banner. When 'Big Bad Harv' comes out, it really is like a whole other person.

The ferocity of the BTAS Harvey (the voice definitely helps) is almost Black Mask-esque. If Two Face/Two Face Part II was translated into live action, Burton would have ate it all up. However as it stands, these eps are all I need.

Agreed. Of all villains, Two Face should give Batman the most hope for rehabilitation, both for their friendship but also for the fact that some part of Harvey may still be locked up in there and desperate to get out. I think that would torment Batman in ways that all the hostage situations in the world never could.

Wow, I got quite a shock when I saw this! Great job, Fanatic. That's one of the best manips I've seen of the Williams Two-Face.
