bat logos made for batman movie fact or fiction ?

hi does anyone know if there were leather batman patches made for crew jackets for 1st bat movie and painted at pinewood am doing some research and wondered if anyone could confirm this cheers.

there were purple crew jackets made and then there were only 30 italian leather jackets made for certain people.
