Tim Burton's 'Alice In Wonderland'

I liked the opening of the trailer where a posh fop seems to be proposing to Alice.  It appears this is more a 'sequel' to Alice in Wonderland, as opposed to a genuine adaptation of the Lewis Carroll novel (kind of like Hook was to Peter Pan, though hopefully better).

Yes, it is a sequel of sorts. Alice has gone back to Wonderland for the second time, although she does not remember her first visit.

Damn, it's been some time since I last listened to The Cure.

I usually don't care about songtrack albums "inspired" by a movie, but I'll give it a try. Robert Smith on a Burton OST? Quite fitting since they have the same haircut! I won't be the first to say that Burton's art style is a great visual accompaniment to many Cure songs.

Went to the cinemas today and saw a ton of Alice in Wonderland posters and cardboard cutouts. Not long to go now. I'm getting excited.

I'm a bit concerned about the news that many cinema chains across Europe are considering boycotting Alice in Wonderland due to the contracted interval between it's cinema and dvd/blue-ray release.  This is one film I'd love to see on the big screen.

Well, reviews are coming out.

The film is getting a good reception.

Most comment that they wish the film went longer.

That's a massive compliment if I've ever heard one.
