"Extra, extra! Read all about it! The Ice Princess amazingly survives a fatal fall! Only 25 cents!" ;D

Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

Ignorance didn't end in much bliss for the Ice Princess.   :-\
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

Was Oswald ignorant?  Evil, twisted, rotten, lascivious, arrogant even, but I wouldn't necessarily say ignorant.

Agreed, Mr. Gobbs.

I wouldnt say Penguin was ignorant either. To me, he came across as everything you mentioned above, as well as quite manipulative as well.
"Imagination is a quality given a man to compensate him for what he is not, and a sense of humour was provided to console him for what he is."

I was actually referring to Penguin's moments before his fall in the toxic water. I should've been more clear, though. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

That's ok Dark Knight Detective.  Thanks for the clarification.

One thing that bothers me with regard to the Ice Princess' kidnap is Catwoman's role in the scheme.  She later makes it clear that she had hoped that the Penguin was only going to scare the princess, and based on her general character, there's no reason to believe that she would wish to see the princess fall to her death.

However, what the heck did Catwoman think was going to happen?!?  She deposits the princess on top of the building's ledge, knowing that she was probably too stupid or too scared to jump onto the roof.  Therefore, any scare that the princess experienced would likely cause her to tumble off the skyscraper.

Furthermore, if the princess did survive, what was she going to tell the police?  As established, the princess' head may have been short of a few lightbulbs, but even she would have been able to tell the police that she'd been kidnapped by an 'ugly birdman with fish breath' and a slim woman dressed like a cat, not Batman!

I see what your saying and your going really deep into it, sometimes thinking that way is too deep, remember its a film lol.

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.

It's only because I like these films so much that I might go into some so deeply at times.  It doesn't detract from my enjoyment of them, since any answer given will generally only be one person's opinion.  Besides, where else can I ask such daft questions about my favourite films?   :)
