Ah, excellent chapter you have here, Gobbs. I could probably go on with your literature, but I'd like to stay brief at this point. A+ material! 8)

But I must ask, why is it in September? I'm just asking because I've always imagined that the film took place in October.

I think I wanted to give myself as much leeway for the next chapters by having the events of the first film end as early in 1989 as possible.  Since I considered the events of the film to have taken place around Autumn I plumped for September, but there's no real reason why it can't be October '89.  I may modify the date from September to October in the future, but in any case, if I do decide to keep things as they are, it would be late September rather than early September.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, DKD.   :)  More to come soon.  I promise.  ;)
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

Very nice fanfiction, Mr. Gobbs. Very nice indeed. I quite enjoyed it, and find the time period your story takes place in to be pretty fascinating!

Cheers.  8)

Thanks for your feedback too, Joker.  It's great to have positive feedback from both ends of the hero-villain spectrum.   ;D

that is awesome!

Thank you Catwoman.

Now when are we going to get another chapter of your fanfic?  You've been dropping various hints about the direction of your story, and I for one am looking forward to reading some more soon!   :)

^ What he said, Catwoman.

I'm actually interested in seeing what your version of what happened to the big dope off the old block, Chip Shreck since you mentioned something about him appearing in your fanfic.

No problem. 8)

By the way, are you going to add in a scene that depicts what you think happened to Johnny Gobbs? Just curious.

if you'd been reading you would have already seen that he did in part 3. :P

Mr. Gobbs that is some excellent work. I feel proud that we still have bat fans that will take the time and the effort to write these excellent stories.

Well done, sir.

Thank you Grissom.  Very kind words indeed.

Dark Knight Detective, I wasn't initially planning on adding anything about the real Johnny Gobbs, but you've set off a light bulb in my head!   :D  Stay tuned for Chapter Four for a reference to the aforementioned Mr Gobbs.   ;)
