Obviously, Keaton's Batman.

2nd fav ... well being a bit of a Hulk fan, I'll go with the Hulk. Though I really cant choose which actor out of the 2003/2008 films I like better, as I felt Bana worked well with Ang Lee's film, and Norton worked well with the 2008 flick.
"Imagination is a quality given a man to compensate him for what he is not, and a sense of humour was provided to console him for what he is."

Keaton as Batman is always number one. I would say Blade played by Wesley Snipes is a close second. Nobody fits a character like Snipes fits Blade. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine isn't too shabby either. Oh, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man is sweet also.

Absolutely. I had a great deal of fun watching that performance.

Same can't wait for IM2

Its a solid tie with Keaton as Batman and Reeve as Superman they where both so perfect i can so easily imagine them meeting on a rooftop in gotham city at night, Keatons Batman the quite brooding guy in the shadows whos voice drips smarts and obsession analysing a case with Reeves Superman who nearly always sees the good in the human race and had the amazing good looks and physique.

They are both the template for live action interpretations imo

Dont tell me that wouldnt have been amazing to watch!

I think Keaton's Batman should have been left out of this vote.

It was a given everyone was going to vote for him, this site is dedicated to Burton's Batman after all.

Instead, the thread should have been 'Favorite superhero other than Batman in live action'.

I said "choose an actor", not "Keaton's Bruce/Batman". I did that because I've read that some of the members of this site choose either the Adam West or the Christian Bale Batman over Keaton. So because of this, putting him in wasn't a redundant move that I made, as not everyone is going to choose him. Get my drift?

Besides, since Batman is one of the top comic book characters to come to live action, he needed to be in.

Keaton and Bales Batman's are both my favorite, I love them both equally.

After that I would have to say Reeve's Superman which is more than iconic, I really like Mcguire's Spiderman alot, and RDJ as Iron Man was fantastic.

There are alot more but those are prolly my most fav.

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.

I can't believe that Reeve's Superman has only got two votes so far!

Although I prefer the Batman films overall, I still think Reeve gave undoubtably the best portrayal of a comic-book character on screen.  He was Superman, in a way that Keaton and Bale, as brilliant as they are, will never truly be the definitive Batman (IMHO).

I even feel sorry for Brandon Routh, who came close but was pretty much doomed from the outset in being cast as Superman.  On the subject, what's happened to Routh?  I hope he has a chance to play a wide range of roles elsewhere, in a way, that sadly Reeve possibly didn't; although, that's not to say that Reeve didn't give a few really great performances in non-Superman films, when he got the chance.  I would have thought that the relative failure of SR, may even have been a good thing for his career, since he wouldn't have been so indelibly linked with the role of Superman the way Reeve was.
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.
