My favorite is Michael Keaton's Batman (always has been, & always will be), because it's such an honor to have had such a talented & versatile actor play my favorite comic book character! Plus, Keaton's Batman had the best & most realistic characterization of all of the live action Batmen IMO.

Christopher Reeve as Superman.  I prefer the Batman films, but if ever an actor was tailor made for a role, it was Reeve and Jor El.
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

Yep, as much as i love what Keaton did - Christopher Reeve is my favourite. As an actor he was perfect for the role - as a human being he was and is an inspiration.

I have 3 favorite LA Superhero (one of which seems to be missing from the list). I loved RDJ and Ironman but i have to go with Keaton just that little bit extra. He had somthing in his performane that just seems to be missing in Batman ever since.

Definitely Ral.  I wasn't even accounting for what an amazing human being Reeve was when I made my choice.  Purely on embodying a character alone he was incredible as Superman (arguably he played three or four characters in the Superman films, all brilliantly - Superman, Clarke Kent in Smallville, the Clarke Kent persona in Metropolis, and the 'evil' Superman in Part 3, the best aspect of that movie in my opinion).

However, aside from acting (and he was indeed a great actor in many other films apart from the Superman series, including the brilliant The Remains of the Day and the very funny Noises Off) Reeve was indeed a fine and deeply intelligent man.

Well I don't like the word superhero at all when used with Batman. I also don't like Batman put in the same list as Superman. LOL. I just did that, it's just me. Anyway ;D

Batman (Keaton/Bale), Iron-Man with Downey Jr., X-Men 1-2, Spider-Man 1-2

EDIT: (True, Reeve was incredible as Superman, but S:TM can bring only sadness when you watch it now, considering the real human tragedy of Chris Reeve and his wife).

I could go down the obvious route and pick Keaton's Batman, but I won't. I voted for Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man.

I'm a fan of the character and think he's done a good job with the role, and can't wait to see him again in Spider-Man 4. And I like all three of the films. Sure, Spider-Man 3 could have been better, but really, it's fine.

Of the characters posted (drum roll please):

Michael Keaton as BATMAN! Wow, what a surprise!

I also really like Billy Zane in the Phantom and Gabriel Macht as the Spirit. IMO they both rose above the film(s) they were in.
Why is there always someone who bring eggs and tomatoes to a speech?

Yea i was abit sad to see Wesley Snipes missing from this list.
