Indeed it is.

I think it's one of the best Nicholson Joker pictures I've ever seen to be honest.

i would agree with that - the make-up looks great - seamless.

it's actually a scan from one of the press kit slides...I know I have it someplace....Murry Close was one of the still photographers on the set during production...this particular shot was an early take ...this scene wasn't used due to the darker version of the Joker wig...the original wig was too bright ( as Nicholson said on the SE DVD)....the wardrobe dept. made one that was darker, but on camera it showed up looking too "muddy" and not green so it was scrapped a,long with the footage shot using it....the wig they ended up using was  a mix of the bright green with the dark green ...I have a pics of it sitting on the #4 Jack Joker make up bust..I'll dig that out and you can see the variation of color

Not only that, but Nicholson looks younger and like he's stepped out of an animated series or comic book page.

Was Murray the official on-set photographer?

I spoke with Mark Anderson who took was a photographer on-set (his images were destroyed in a fire in 1993) who mentioned there was an official photographer on set but he couldn't remember his name.

Would be great to see this pic reevz

here's the pic I was talking about showing Nicholson's wig ( and this is bust #3 not 4)...it's uncombed and a little worn

here is another shot of the wig on bust #4( the one that was approved by Nicholson and Burton) ...sorry for the crap pic..it's a screen cap I took from my M.O.H VHS video....

Looks great Reevz! Love seeing this stuff!!

Where did you get that first pic?

And what VHS did you get the screen cap from?

Oh yeah, I have seen that on youtube. Great doc, some good behind the scenes footage and interviews. I must download it again.

Your right it does need put on a dvd or something. Too many old making of docs for films are being lost when they should be getting restored and put on DVD's. That was part of the reason and attraction of DVD's I thought.

I agree, the package would be more complete if they were included.
