i think she was a victim of circumstance - her transformation was caused by a physical trauma...

...but i don't see a vote option for that  :-\

ok. um....

i think like she had all this repressed rage and finally she hit her breaking point, it just so happened that she was covered with kitties (and liked cats) and so that's why she became catwoman.

imagine if it had been mice!  :o  minnie mouse from hell! :P
