Hey guys its me again you can call me Mike and the stuff that I posted well most of it I just made up just to see if anybody on here would actually believe me, but the stuff from wikipedia.org I got from their site of course so I do not know if wikipedia's facts are true or not. I am a fan of both Tim Burton & Michael Keaton I have the special edition dvds I have watched the documentary that you were talking about shadowbat but I don't remember Peter Macgregor-Scott or Schumacher Talking much about Burton's involment at all with the third film. I remember The Batchlers saying that they had a meeting with Burton and Schumacher and they were telling Burton that Batman is about duality, Burton's eyes just lit up and said they got it. It does amaze me that if Burton did not have a lot do with the 3rd film I wonder why WB had A Tim Burton Production in the opening credits?
Anyways I loved Tim Burton's first 2 films and I thought the 3rd film was ok I really didn't see anything bad about Batman Forever.
So lets all be friends and forget about all that bullsh*t that I said I am sorry if I offended any of the fans.

Peace out, Mike

First of all Tim was still very much interested in doing a third film. Actually, he was actually at first trying to do a Catwoman spinoff with Daniel Waters. When WB passed, he began scripting a third Batman film in which he intended to include her character again.

I posted an interview with Daniel Waters on the site, he says
QuoteI just finished a script for just Catwoman. I turned it in last Friday. It's her movie. And Tim is supposedly going to direct it. I'm just getting response from the script now. Of course, turning it in the day Batman Forever opened may not have been my best logistical move, in that it's the celebration of the fun-for-the-whole-family Batman and Catwoman is definitely not a fun-for-the-whole-family script.

so actually the catwoman script was written after the forever script.

Wow. Really?  Man, that shakes some things up. I do know Burton wanted a third flick, says so on the Dark Knight Featurettes on Returns DVD. I've read the Waters script. I can see why it was passed on.

if your statement about burton scripting a new batman movie after catwoman was rejected is true, then does this mean there is atleast a partial burton script out there?

that would be the holy grail!

I used the term loosely. Meaning that he was working with ideas, Catty being one of them. Remmeber, her head popping up was a sudden change at the end of production that cost something like a quarter of a mill. I truely think she was gonna come back.

I HEARD, he did a first draft.

Burton probably has those scriptments stuffed in his desk somewhere, forgotten.  :P
The B89 photos you refer to will soon be back in our hands.

I am glad Burton stayed away from the 3rd film I mean come on Marlan Wayne's as Robin give me a break Chris O'Donnell was perfect in Batman Forever he played the part absolutely perfrect. Also Tommy Lee Jones & Jim Carrey were also great in the 3rd film. Val Kilmer was also great because Val played the role better than Keaton, Val played the role of Batman more human. I just love the 3rd film the way it was and the 3rd film was a Great Improvement Over Batman Returns.

I know a few folks scoffed when I said this, but I truely think Burton isn't done. I'm not saying there'll be a movie, but something is going to happen by way of some kind of installment, whether it be graphic novel or something else. It's a feeling in my gut. Batman and Returns has now what could only be described as a cult following. That will amount to something.

I wish that Tim Burton and Michael Keaton would reunite for a new Batman movie. We don't know what happened to Catwoman after the end of Returns.

Cool review sounds about right. While i don't hate this movie it's farrrrrrrrrrr from my favorite, somtimes i will think i guess this is alright for what it is and then i will think WTF brain blenders?? How can a move with Val Kilmer and Tommy Lee Jones be this bad. I still refuse to forgive JS for cheating me out of my 3rd Keaton Moive >:(.
