Apparently the s**t. He definitely comes off as egocentric and must have major psychological problems. Maybe it's the result of growing up as a child actor.

Maybe it'd be nice to display some of the psychological problems when it come to playing Batman. And as for him thinking he's the best, then he's the best at making Batman sound inhuman.

Actually, I'd say that's probably a very astute observation. Child actors are seldom raised right by their parents, and thus grow up to be unbalanced in some way, in his case, maybe his parents fawned over him too much and he was thereby made arrogant.

Is that the reason why he attacked his mother? If what you're saying is true, then perhaps that was his way of showing his anger for his odd raising.

She probably knocked his ego.

Chances are, he never learned to control his anger, like my father. His parents were never around and he was raised by babysitters, practically. A babysitter isn't going to raise a child, tell them "no" or force them to behave in order to get what they want, so they never learn how to be respectful or nice to get what they want, because they learn that anger still gets them the attention that they want.

As a child, he was probably a little tantrum thrower and his parents never smacked him for it.

And while I'm no expert, I've taken a sh*tload of psychology classes (It's my minor) and I know enough to hypothesize (sp?).

Do you show any sorrow for him? I think he shouid've went to an anger management program or something. This behavior is immature & unnecessary.

Yes, but there's enough influence in my father's life (and Bale's) now, that one should be come smart enough to realize "I should be a better person."

What upsets me the most is how the so-called Nolan "fanboys" defend Bale for his immature actions, like you mentioned earlier. >:(

As for Keaton, he was hated for some of the most idiotic crap I've ever read. Because he wasn't a hunk? You've got to be bullcraping me. The man was & still is some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. To me (and to most fans of Batman or his films), he'll always be the Batman of live action! 8)

I honestly think he doesn't like the project. McG (Charlie Angels) isn't really the first guy I'd want to do a Terminator movie. Bale as Conner is an excellent idea, but the the film we're getting is not looking too hot. Bale hasn't been known to blow up like this. I'm glad Terry Crews is backing him up.

"Anyone can have a bad day... I'd get mad too if I was the number one star in the world and people started to mess with me. He is a class act! He is one of the greatest actors ever. I'm vouching for him. I know he's a nice guy. I know he's all about his work."

I never liked him. From the first time I saw him in an interview promoting Begins on Charlie Rose. He comes off very cocky when talking about the new Batman movies. He's got this "we're better than those films" and "our films actually get Batman right" attitude and he just plain sucks as Batman IMO.
You and others saw something that eluded me, man.  I figured he was basically a good guy.  I bought it, I admit.  During that nasty business this summer when his family came knocking, I figured they only represented so's they could shake him down during his moment of triumph.  I have family who'd pull something like on me so I could sorta relate.  I guess psych majors would call that "projection".  Anyway, I figured he tried to force 'em to leave his hotel room and ended up having to get physical in order to do it.  And somehow that turned into Bale "attacking" them.  I cut him a lot of slack on that.  A lot.

But no more.  Now?  I totally believe he could do something like that.  Normal, emotionally balanced people might get angry when their work is ruined like that (assuming his was... which seems to be in doubt) but they don't go F'ing nuclear like that.

As for his superior attitude, re: the Burton films, his Batman movies will NEVER be the pop culture phenom that Burton's were.  Moreover, they don't spark childrens' imaginations in anything CLOSE to how Burton did.  What you see with the Nolan films is what you get.  There's nothing left to tickle the imagination because it's all there in the dialogue.  When I was a kid, I saw that matte painting establishing Gotham City at the top of B89 and INSTANTLY bought into the crime noir vibe of crooked thieves and even crookeder cops on every street corner; a city where even the buildings and architecture themselves conspired to oppress the citizens of Gotham.  NOTHING Nolan and Bale have EVER done can compete with that single shot!  Get outta my F'ing face, ya know?

And c'mon y'all, you guys KNOW there's video of this.  The camera was obviously rolling at that moment.  It can only be a matter of time until we see footage of this whole nasty affair.  Bale may be able to weather the audio bits but if that video ever surfaces... he may be done.  Professionally.
