That awkward moment when you remember the only Batman who's never killed is George Clooney...

A sad start to 2009.

Like a few other great actors in the Batman series, Pat brought a real sense of gravitas to the role of Commissioner Gordon - especially in B89 and Returns.

Sad news indeed. I liked him in the role, in Burton's films better of course. RIP Mr Hingle. You will live on in your films.

RIP Pat you were the man as Gordon, I love you in Gunsmoke also!!!

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.

Great actor, great man, great tragedy.  RIP Pat.

he died today? - until we find out who's responsible keep a lid on it!

THAT'S NOT A BIT FUNNY!(;D)

RIP Mr. Hingle

Oh, dammit.

Not a good start to the year. :(
"There's just as much room for the television series and the comic books as there is for my movie. Why wouldn't there be?" - Tim Burton

I saw this earlier today.  I can't believe it.  :(  So very sad.

A moment of silence for a great commissioner.
