What do you actually LIKE from the Schumacher films?

I liked the stunts and whatnot from B&R.  It felt like Batman lived in this sort of stylized reality where things like jumping out of a rocket ship and wind surfing to the surface are just another day at the office for him.

I also liked the scope of Gotham City.  Burton's deliberately felt claustrophobic.  Schumacher tried to open it up a little bit and let us see the city more.  Of course, that translates to seeing more neon and stuff but his intentions were good.  I think.

B&R frickin rules........jk haha!

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.

I thought the suit that Kilmer wore at the end of the film was really cool except it was a little too bright. I thought it would've looked better if it was either black, dark gray or navy blue.

We got to see places from the comics that weren't in the Burton films- Wayne Enterprises (though Bruce did have a scene or two there in Hamm's first draft for B89), Arkham Asylum, and the GCPD rooftop.

"Your parents weren't killed by a maniac."  "Yes they were."

The flashbacks to the Wayne murders and the cave discovery.

Bruce's interaction with Alfred (which is hard to screw up).  Particularly in B&R, with Bruce's line, "I spent my whole life trying to beat back death."
That awkward moment when you remember the only Batman who's never killed is George Clooney...

Same i didn't even mind Robin suit. Another bit i liked it Forever was the way he had his Batwing just hanging, it was a nice touch.

Forever would be a lot better if it re-instated all the deleted scenes. Such a wasted oppurtunity.....

I also liked the look of Two-Face's men with the split colored ski-masks and piercings.

Loved it when Harvey put his gun to the Riddler's head and said "Let's see if you bleed green!"

I dunno.  The deleted scenes we got on the DVD wouldn't have drastically improved the movie if they'd been included.  At the end of the day, you'd still have O'Donnell as Robin and Jones as someone calling himself Two Face with everyone running around a city full of neon.  Not many ways to fix that...

I thought I heard from imdb (I know, not very credible) that the movie was supposed to run 30 minutes longer than the released film with the deleted scenes. Were there other scenes not shown on the DVD? I skimmed through Akiva Goldsman's script and the subway scene seemed to be longer.

Perhaps there were more deleted scenes left off the DVD but probably not anything substantial. Really, the only ones that were necessary to the film's plot were the two Batcave ones. I like the opening Arkham scene as well but it isn't needed to make a complete film.
