Having read Daredevil: Born Again and showed how despite a drug-addicted Karen Page sold Matt Murdock out for a fix and how Kingpin made his life a living hell, it's a testament to Matt's character he could still forgive her. Perhaps it was conditioned due to his Catholic upbringing, but he's very generous to not condemn a troubled friend for such an act of betrayal. Which is perhaps his greatest strength: it's not his radar sense, nor his fighting skills, but it's his compassion. That makes him a better man than most people.

Great comic, Miller knocked it out of the park with Daredevil at his peak. Whether it's showing the supporting characters like Karen being taken to very dark places that hurt those close to her, Ben Urich overcoming his own fear and trauma to regain the confidence as an intrepid reporter again, to Matt having momentarily lapses of paranoia as he suspects all of his friends betraying him as he hits rock bottom. Miller was a master to convey such psychological realism.
QuoteJonathan Nolan: He [Batman] has this one rule, as the Joker says in The Dark Knight. But he does wind up breaking it. Does he break it in the third film?

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.
