It's in there. I have the set. That set has everything except the TV cut of STM, which was released later.

The theatrical isn't that elusive, you just have to put in a little more effort to find it. It's also on the streaming services alongside the extended cut.

Ok. Thanks. That's what I was thinking, but wasn't absolutely sure about. Perhaps, the theatrical cut was more elusive until the tin box set from 2006 was released? I could be completely wrong about that, but it was the '98/2001 "Special Edition" cut of STM that got widely released in the double sided DVD in that cardboard snapper case in 2001, and also the version that was included with the other Reeve Superman films on DVD (which were all barebone releases) in the subsequent cardboard silver box set as well.

I do seem to vaguely remember that it was either in the 2006 tin box set that Colors mentioned earlier, or the 2011 blu ray box set, that the original WB Saul Bass B&W logo was finally reinserted back into STM as it originally was back in 1978. Prior to that, we were simply stuck with the standard 2000's WB shield logo that accompanied so many DVDs at the time. I remember checking out the 2011 blu just to make sure of this, and it's there. I'd have to dig out the tin box set to see if it was reinserted back in 2006, but I absolutely know the original opening WB Saul Bass logo is on the 2011 blu.

Some may argue that's a minute detail, but hey, I'd rather it be there than not.
