lol I know how to, Im just wondering who should I pm?

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.

Is this edition ripped from the dvd audio?

I wish something would come from our Elfman soundtrack petition. It's incredibly annoying that we have to revert to DVD ripping when the original expanded tracks are apparently just sitting there.

Complete scores are very rarely released. TDK was one of those few exceptions. It took a few decades to get all of the Superman music from the Reeve films released.  :'(

Yep. They really pandered to that film.

Film scores are such a specialized market anyway - can't picture many people going out to buy a complete score for a 20 year old movie, and CD albums are in their decline. Ones hopes someone like La-La-Land Records releases a limited edition (like the animated scores), or at least a digital purchase in a lossless file format.

I am not disagreeing with you. However, I don't see why a movie like Batman would not get a full release in the future, Superman did. Maybe if Elfman produced it himself....

As for a complete score to a 20 year old movie not being possible, Intradia released the Score for Jaws 3-D on CD for the first time last January, 25 years after that films release, limited to 3000 copies. If Jaws 3-D can get a release, why can't a special edition of Batman.

So many old films have been completly released in recent years.

Yeah I agree, several other rather more obscure movies have had full score releases. Frankly, I think that they never bothered with a proper release (expanded, superior audio quality as well as booklet with liner notes by a specialist - the full treatment) for the obvious reasons: they think is't not viable from a marketing POV. These kind of expanded/complete editions are aimed towards the score aficionados or hardcore fans of a film.

Yes, in recent years some specialty labels have been releasing highly sought-after scores. So there is hope.

For what it's worth, Incredible Hulk also had a complete score released last summer. So maybe we're seeing the beginnings of a trend.
