I love this retrowave cover of the Flash theme.

A lot has been said about Ezra Miller's style of running in JL. He was once quoted saying martial arts and dancing choreography were major influences on his movements.

I, for one, never had much of an issue with his running. I didn't even know it was made to be a big deal, but some people really hate the way he runs. It might seem a little too theatrical, but that's what the movie is for, and does anyone really want to see him run like a Olympic sprinter? Besides, is it really that bad compared to how Grant Gustin runs on the CW nowadays? Poor Grant is hampered by budget cuts.
QuoteJonathan Nolan: He [Batman] has this one rule, as the Joker says in The Dark Knight. But he does wind up breaking it. Does he break it in the third film?

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.

The Flash and the Speed Force scene is among the nominees for #OscarsCheerMoment on social media.

So this is how the Oscars is trying to engage with the general public to revive the dwindling interest surrounding the ceremony, eh?

I read ZSJL was initially considered as a nominee for the #OscarsFanFavorite hashtag, but The Academy disqualified it because it was considered to be a redux.

Still, it's nice to see such a great scene getting some recognition. It's such a shame we didn't get to see this on the big screen back in 2017.

Snyder has uploaded this test video footage on VERO to show how he wanted the Flash to run during that Speed Force sequence. As you can see, the stunt actor was running on a treadmill while wearing a harness. No doubt the same technique was used on Ezra Miller to replicate the style of running and motion in the final cut.

And it won. Beating Endgame and NWH in the process.

Fans also paid money to fly a banner up in the sky above the ceremony.

That fool Toby Emmerich was in attendance at the Oscars, he must be seething inside. ;D AOTD was another property that WB had to rights to for years, but sold it off to Netflix.

While this might not be an offficial prize per se, it's still great to see it getting celebrated. And to think the old regime at WB thought the scene would've confused the audience. ::)

This is a pretty good visual effects breakdown of Barry saving Iris. I never noticed the Flash symbol appears on his sneakers before, gotta love those little nods that appear here and there.
