Even the greatest masterpiece has its flaws.

Not a big fan myself.

There was so much other good artwork they could have used.

Agreed.

The batpod poster is good, but not the best poster to use. And Joker is not the main character of this film. Funniliy enough, the single disc version gets the best poster art.

I would have liked the first teaser poster to be the main cover. Very simply but very effective.

That would have been far better.

They could have done the whole, "collectible cover" thing. One could have Batman the other, The Joker. Obviously the Joker one would become rare and sell out fast.
"Jack is dead my friend. You can call me, Joker. And, as you can see, I'm a lot happier."

Yep. It worked for the Burton covers did it not?  ;)

Actually, the initial VHS and DVD releases in the UK didn't use the symbols.  Only Batman89 did.
Yes, that is true.

I love all the artwork for Batman returns. But I would have prefered to of had the Returns VHS with the snowy Bat symbol, to keep consistant with Batman. I did get forever on VHS with the Bat and question mark on the front.

Its great the dvds done this.

Did Batman ever have any other promotional movie posters? I mean like we seen for Returns and TDK - Like alternate artwork for the movie?
I havent really seen any around apart from this site - which I'm not sure if they are fan made or not?

As do I. My favourite Batman art, next to TDK.

I simply cannot wait for this on Blue-Ray, its going to be amazing!

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.
