I think I have seen half (if not more) of the features already through the discovery channel and the viral build-up.

I just hope Gotham Uncovered: The Creation of a Scene is intensive.  I got a PS3 today, so i will be picking up the Blu-ray.

The special features will no doubt suck, but I don't particularly care. At least I get the feature film in high definition.

Whoever compiled the BB extras seems to be from that same school as Speilberg's, with those surface level mini-featurettes.  Even so, the BB DVD team clearly tried to add in as much meat as they could.  If TDK's extras are along those same lines, I wouldn't be upset about it.

I still don't understand Nolan's allergy about recording commentary for these films though...

His commentary is some of the most boring, I have ever heard while watching a film, about as bad as Burton's.

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.

Burton is a little scatterbrained, I'll give you that, but I rather enjoyed his Batman commentary tracks because you get stories you wouldn't ordinarily hear in run of the mill interview.

I've never heard a Nolan commentary track though.  Always meant to give the Memento commentary a spin, but who has time?

Well if you ever do, thats the one to watch I believe it may be his only commentary track for any of his films but I might be wrong. Thats the one that I watched and it put me to sleep.

Perhaps Nolan, like Burton, needs someone else to share the commentary track with like David Goyer. It's probably best to have two people do commentary so it can take some pressure off one person having to do a commentary by themselves.

I always thought Tim Burton was more on track when doing commentaries with someone else, such as Pee-wee's Big Adventure with Paul Reubens. If he did commentaries with Sam Hamm for 89 or Daniel Waters for Returns, it might have been more insightful, IMO.

Ya that would've been nice to maybe even have Jack or especially MICHAEL there to do it, but wb dropped the ball on that front.

I got the Begins/TDK double Blu-ray pack today. Also got a free TDK travel bottle and bag with it.

My first VHS was Returns.  My first DVD was B89.  And my first Blu-rays were the aforementioned.  :)
