Forever Noir (A Batman Forever Re-Edit)

Hey everyone, Cameron Murphy here. Last time I mention my "Batman Forever: Bigger, Battier and Better" edit was last year. The edit has changed significantly since then, and I'm proud to announce my edit is now a Film Noir-style edit!

Cuts & Additions:
-Colours changed to B/W, luminance lowered by 10%

-Rescored with new music by Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer

-Classic 1950s B/W Warner Bros. Pictures logo added at the beginning

-New animated Bat symbol transition added after WB logo, akin to Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy

-"Escape from Arkham" deleted scene added

-Edward working on his invention (from the U2 music video) added

-"...in the flesh!" added

-"I have it" and "Ah?" removed

-Additional dialogue added during the tunnel scene

-Suit up sequence altered

-Drive-thru exchange removed and replaced with "Do try and bring this one back in one piece, sir" from B&R

-Two-Face introduction and Chase encounter re-edited

-"Let's start this party with a bang!" and "Open sesame" excised

-Alternate/extended shots added during bank fight

-Bank vault sequence edited heavily

-Extended helicopter fight added, sans stuntman voice

-"Caffeine'll kill ya!" expunged

-Test subject sequence and murder of Stickley re-edited heavily

-New nightmare scene created, utilizing a shot from the U2 music video

-"Th-the memories..." and "Yep, definitely suicide" removed

-Apartment scene rescored

-"Wayne Manor..." and "Hmph!" removed

-Cut Bruce asking where Chase's office is

-"I have an appointment. I'm Bruce Wayne" removed

-Gossip Gerty's scenes at the circus removed

-Two-Face's laughs during the circus raid muted

-Two-Face shooting an innocent clown added

-The Flying Graysons falling to their death rescored

-Flashback sequence re-edited

-"Robin will fly again" moved to after the rooftop scene

-Unused shot of the Batmobile driving through Gotham added before the rooftop scene

-"The Batsignal is not a beeper", "It's the car, right? Chicks love the car", "Black rubber..." and "Women" removed

-Car chase removed

-"Dick's pain" deleted scene added

-"Question Mark Man?" removed

-"KILL THE BAT" removed

-Riddler commenting on Two-Face's lair and demonstrating his invention removed

-First half of "Beauty and the Batman" deleted scene added

-"Show me how to punch a guy!" scene removed

-Third riddle scene removed entirely

-Cut straight from angry mob outside electronics store to Riddler in his lair on Claw Island, growing smarter

-"Now!" muted

-Footage of the Batcave turning on reversed

-"Rage, violence, passion..." removed

-Dick's joyride in the Batmobile and him talking to the R&B girls removed

-Alleyway fight sequence altered heavily

-Cameos by the Red Triangle Circus Gang, Penguin and Catwoman added during Bruce's "terrible morning" speech

-U2's "Hold Me, Thrill Ms, Kiss Me, Kill Me" added during the Nygmatech party

-"No, no, no, NOOO!" and "Be calm, everybody! Just be calm!" removed

-"Excuse me!" muted

-Alternate shots added during Batman's entrance

-Indiana Jones-esque fight removed

-Subway destruction scene altered

-Dick trying to come up with a sidekick name removed

-"Bruce's dilemma" deleted scene added and altered

-Batman's smile removed

-"Bats on the Brain" scene refined

-"Batman is no more" scene removed

-Bruce's confession refined

-Trick-or-treater scene altered

-"Sssspank me!" removed

-Two-Face now only flips his coin once

-Riddler destroying the Batcave altered

-Two-Face cackling after his last coin flip shortened

-Two-Face running up to Bruce and laughing with Riddler removed

-Voice clips of Vicki Vale and Selina Kyle from the first two films added while Bruce is unconscious

-"Secret of the Batcave" deleted scene added and recut as Bruce's nightmare

-"Old habits die hard" exchange removed when Bruce wakes up

-"Who the hell's doing that?" and "The Riddler!" muted

-"You really are quite bright as tightwad people say" muted

-Infamous batarse shot removed (in its place is a shot of Batgirl's cape dropping from B&R)

-Two-Face and Riddler playing Battleship removed

-Robin's stunt double removed

-Alternate shot of the Batwing crashing into the ocean added

-"I hope they can find the little black box!" removed

-Extra shot of Robin on Claw Island added

-Less of Two-Face's goofy antics during the climax

-"Was that over the top? I can never tell!" and "Bummer!" removed

-Criminal Property Lockup from B&R added

-"I can't tell you if you don't say please" removed

-"Does it ever end?" deleted scene added, following by a shot of Batman driving to the police station, repurposed as a new ending shot

-New end credits sequence, starting with a memoriam dedicated to the late Pat Hingle and Michael Gough

-New "Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures" end card added
