Hey Redskull, I made a cover for the DVD for everyone.

No bashing but all you did was erase the cast and added names to it, its the SE DVD cover released in the UK!

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.

Wasn't it out in every country, i have that one and i don't live in the uk?

Thats weird the covers to mine are just the regular posters for the films, I actually wish I got the ones you got then, I like them just a tad better.

You could state the obvious or you could at least applaud the kid for wanting to be apart of something.

Applauding someone for doing a simple task a child could do in paint is kinda, I dunno giving too much credit.

Its cool and all, but anyone could do that!

And yet you don't pass up a chance to be somehow rude.

And anyone can be a jack ass who thinks hes all great by putting himself in superman and batman costumes...

So everything that has been posted could have been said differently. Sometimes things dont come across as they should. Continuing this little argument will result in a spanking. Move along.

Having just seen the first part, I hate to say it, but I found this edit hard to watch.
The way some scenes start and end abruptly works against the flow of the movie.

The music and the audio is big problem. You chose some good music to replace Elliot Goldenthal's score (even though I really like his score as well). However, the music is too unbalanced with the audio and dialogue. I guess you had to up the music volume so you don't hear the original music, which is the main problem with the edit.

If you had an edit without any music to work with, you could probably edit more freely.

I also disagree with your choice of giving people credit for this film, who aren't even in it or didn't work on it. I know it was for the feel, but it just seems wrong to me.

The Batmobiles jumping back and forth between the 1989/ 1992 version and the 1995 version also doesn't work well. Either you leave the 1995 Batmobile in this, or you take the time to superimpose a 3-D rendering of the 1989/ 1992 Batmobile. I know, this involves a crazy amount of rendering work and precision, but that would be the only way to do this properly.

Removing the Warner Bros. Logo morphing to the Batman symbol was another thing I can't agree on. I remember thinking how cool that was back then, and I still think it is today.
You could have used the opening logo, extend it slightly with the audio of rain and thunder, have a lightning go off, showing the symbol flashing black and white and then cut to the exterior shot of Arkham Asylum.

I also liked the Helicopter/ acid safe scene and found it weird you removed it for the most part.

However, I really liked seeing the title appear with the "The Bat must die!" writing in the background, followed by that cool brain title sequence.

I'm not trying to destroy your efforts.
It must be very hard trying to turn this movie basically into another, changing the feel of the film, changing scenes and not even having the right source material to do it with.

With all this said, I still look forward to seeing the finished film.
Hopefully, you don't take this critique in a bad way.

Some of these points I agree with and I ended up going back and editing further the cut I made. I think it is more of an improvement now from reading this. While I kept the same scenes in and out, the transition from scenes has been re-worked as well as the music in the movie. I thank you for the advice.
