That reminds me - i have a shillelagh fight at 12pm.  :P

Got this today. Brilliant game. It reminds me how much I love this character and his world.

Awesome game. It takes a pretty good game to keep me engrossed and boy has this game caught me.

Even my fiance is watching me telling me what to do and hiding during the scarecrow bits!

Yeah, those Scarecrow dream-scapes are amazing. They're surprisingly quite scary. Those needle hands are freaky, plus it's trippy when he reacts to your noises - this gigantic monster staring up close. The interactive death of Bruce's parents was also very well done.

Yeah, these "dream" levels were some of my favorite parts! I particularly loved how they built up - like something out of Silent Hill. And Batman's origin... Great stuff ;D

I also liked that the camera makes the game look almost like a side-scroller at these bits which, combined with the gameplay that requires precise timing to avoid Godzilla/Scarecrow or instant death, bring the classic Another World or Flashback to mind.

Mark Hamill put in another solid gold performance. In terms of voice, he is The Joker. He has the role down perfectly, none are better at this kind of thing than him.

Conroy once again proved his worth as well. His Batman voice is a very close second to Keaton for me. He's calm, thoughtful and wise - with a twist of mystery and sinister power when needed. Effortlessly natural and just right.

Yeah, thanks to the duet of Conroy/Hammil in the central roles, alongside the solid voice work in the rest of the parts, as well as a proper bat-writer scripting it (Paul Dini I think),  the game feels like you play through a proper Batman movie.

IMO these factors alongside the flawless work in the gameplay and design departments make AA a credible take on Batman, as "valid" as a full-length animated film, and not just another b-grade game tie-in based on a popular character.

The critics rave.
