If not excitement than maybe a softening of their hard line stance that it's going to suck. Which is getting on my nerves.

This is looking utterly epic. Hell this trailer was epic. I tried to figure out a way they could possibly still screw this movie up despite what we've seen and I don't think it's possible. It's definitely going to be good, the question is if the total package is as great as the snippets we've seen. I'm VERY excited. Can't wait to see it opening night.

Hands down this is the best Batman has ever been in combat. It's the Arkham games brought to life. No more goons falling over for no reason ala the Nolan days. There's always going to be Nolan era hardliners, not wanting this new series to be successful. But I'd argue they're not Batman fans to begin with. Because Batman fans should love this trailer.

Did the fight scene at the beginning remind anyone else of Batsy fighting a bunch of dudes at once in Arkham Asylum? I was trying to think where I'd seen that before, I knew it wasn't in a movie, but it really reminds me of the fighting in the video game which to me was epic and looked what a Bat-ass whoopin should look like.

And I said from the day it was announced he had been cast that I was so looking forward to Jeremy Irons as Alfred. His bit at the beginning was utter perfection. Everything we have seen of him has been so great. But then again has there ever been an Alfred that wasn't amazing? Alan Napier? Check. Michael Gough? Check. Efrem Zimbalist? Double Check. Michael Caine? Check. Whoever voiced him in Under the Red Hood? Check. JB Blanc (Beware the Batman)? Check. And now Jeremy. Like, our favorite butler is probably the greatest Batman character (based off portrayals) ever. That just hit me. lol.

Really dig this trailer. Good fights and shows that the grounded, handheld style of MOS is out the window. Snyder is bringing his style back and I see that as a positive thing.

No kidding. I saw somebody who complained that he couldn't tell what was going on in the Batman fight scene. Don't know what he was smoking.

The good thing about this fight scene was that it was edited in a quick AND coherent manner to give the illusion that Batman could take on a dozen crooks at once. The problem with the fight choreography in the last decade was that it was so sloppy and badly cut to the point you couldn't tell what was happening, crooks falling over as TDK already said, or goons just stood there despite being armed with guns...at point blank range! And unlike here, Batman wasn't even quick enough to overwhelm them either, which made the fight scenes worse.

Thankfully, the action looks to have been improved ten-fold. Some people will make try to make derogatory comparisons to video games (perhaps as another dig against Snyder), but I see that as a compliment. Any Arkham game influence is welcome in my eyes.

So far, the action looks good, the acting looks good (I don't care about Oscars or self-congratulatory awards ceremonies, I just ask for actors deliver the goods for the roles they're playing), special effects is looks fine...now it's up to the story.
