Good choice, but am I the only one who really wanted Aquaman to be a blond, despite that Momoa looks the part otherwise ?

I always prefer it when the film characters physically resemble the comic-book counterparts.  :-\  But at least Mera is being played by a hot actress.

With Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Robin Wright as her mother, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and now Amber Heard as Mera, it's like the Burton/Schumacher days when really hot women were cast in DC movies.

I don't get what's the problem with those decisions. I think Margot and Gal are great choices.  :-\

This may bother some people but I've always interpreted Momoa's casting as a bow in the direction of political correctness.

I've interpreted it as capitalizing on his role as Khal Drogo.

Speaking as someone who is usually known for being PC, I'm inclined to agree with you on this one.

Your comment certainly doesn't bother me (I can't speak for others), and like I said before, I would personally have preferred Aquaman to physically resemble the comic-book character, much like I wanted a blond actor to play 'Johnny Storm' in Fantastic Four...maybe next time.  :-\

Well, do you really think FOX will try another one? Only if they were sold back to Marvel, I'd be more optimistic about the future of F4 on film.
