Before he made to Hollywood, Eric Bana (Hulk, Black Hawk Down) starred as a sketch comedian on Aussie TV for a show called Full Frontal and parodied Batman Forever.

Too bad the sketch itself was awful.  :-[

QuoteJonathan Nolan: He [Batman] has this one rule, as the Joker says in The Dark Knight. But he does wind up breaking it. Does he break it in the third film?

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.

I would've watched Eric Bana's Batman if it had Jennifer Connelly and Ang Lee was directing.

And maybe Nick Nolte too, if you get my drift.  :)

So, Eric Bana as Batman, Jennifer Connelly as Catwoman and Nick Nolte as Commissioner Gordon?  I think that could have worked.  :)
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

An Ang Lee's Hulk fan huh?

God bless you! God bless everyone!

Definitely. And I am happy there was no Hulk 2, the one movie he made was great. The MCU wanted something else.

Me too Dagenspear.

I also like 2008's The Incredible Hulk.  But it seems that Edd and I are in the minority when it comes to being fans of the cinematic Hulks.  :-\

It does seem like that, Johnnygobbs. And I don't think we'll see a cinematic Hulk again soon... except as part of the Avengers ensemble.

I like them both fine. I find The Incredible Hulk a more entertaining, but I liked and still like Hulk just fine.

I've heard that Thor Ragnarok is going to be basically a Thor/Hulk team up movie.

God bless you both! God bless everyone!

I reckon Eric Bana could've been a good Batman.

As for the 2003 Hulk film? It's flawed, and it has a lot of goofy things about it that make me laugh like the mutant poodles, a crippled Talbot torturing Banner etc. But I like it too.
