I discovered this site whilst doing my usual 'Batman' google search: http://www.pyroandballyhoo.com/25th-anniversary-batman-top-ten-funniest-moments/

I don't know much about the site but this page is great as it lists ten great comic moments from 'Batman 1989'.  I've included each of the ten in the poll, but you may have other favourite comic moments.

My personal one, which another commenter on that site mentions, is when Bruce Wayne briefly advises the Joker about a guy he knows called Jack "mean kid, hurt people".  To which the Joker replies "I like him already."
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

For me, the funniest part is how the Joker slowly accepts how Batman cut and run with his balloons. He says it plainly once... then says it to one of his thugs, and finally, walking from the float down to street level (with a shocked look on his face), he finally explodes.

Cracks me up!
"There's just as much room for the television series and the comic books as there is for my movie. Why wouldn't there be?" - Tim Burton

I'd just like to add:

"Antoine got a little hot under the collar!"

"Do I look like I'm joking?"

"You... are my number one guy!"

"Check his wallet!"  ;D

"Those are my balloons..." :o

"Maybe it should be Bruce Vain"

"Hello, Vinny, it's your uncle Bingo."

"And where is the Batman? He's at home, washing his tights!" ;D

Joker shooting down the Batwing.

"Then he had his...HIS LIGHTS OUT! NOW YOU WANNA GET NUTS? C'MON! Let's get nuts!" my favorite from Bruce/Batman

"He stole my balloons. Why didn't anyone tell me he had one of those things? Bob; gun!"

For all the grim, yet humorous moments in B89, my favourite Joker moment is when he complained about the media coverage of Batman had overshadowed the massacre in front of city hall and yells "This town needs an enema!". It always cracked me up as a child. But as I got older, and how I saw the Joker took advantage of people's greed into setting everybody up for a death trap, he kinda has a point. The stupidity of the masses isn't to be underestimated, and it's a testament to Batman's character that he still wants to protect society. Of course, I could be overthinking it, but that parade scene really makes me wonder about crowd psychology.

That was the most eccentric Bruce Wayne moment ever. I love it.  ;D

Another eccentric moment I found unintentionally funny was Grissom:"Say THIS...(puts the newspaper of Harvey Dent down on his desk gently and suddenly slams his fist against it) SON OF A BITCH - "...

Jack Palance's acting was so hammy throughout that scene it's great.  :D
QuoteJonathan Nolan: He [Batman] has this one rule, as the Joker says in The Dark Knight. But he does wind up breaking it. Does he break it in the third film?

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.

Looking at the stuff on Black Friday, someone could really pull off a Joker stunt with something like that, no question. I'm shocked it hasn't already happened. That's not to say I want it to, because I most assuredly don't. But people's greed and obsession with the "good deal" is going to be their undoing at some point I'm afraid. And I don't just mean taking advantage of the crowds to do something horrible, I mean a literal Joker-esque ploy.

I loved that. I think I made a comment or post about it years and years ago, when I was a new member. I think. I've slept and had a few blows to the head since then.

Cringey as hell to read now. Kewl? Ugh. But I was right. I joined March 22 of '09, that was posted three months and two days later.

True. Sadly, I fear it might be a matter of time. We do live in a world where sheep are tricked by a cult of personality and they are easily influenced to do horrendous to others and themselves. You only need to look at history with examples such as Hitler and Jonestown. It only takes a charismatic or conniving lunatic to lure greedy and misguided people for the purpose of wrongdoing.

As far as Jokeresque ploys are concerned, the closest real life incident I can think of that kinda resembles a Joker-type crime is the Japanese vending machine killings in 1985, where a dozen people had died and many others were left poisoned after consuming soft drinks tainted by a herbicide called paraquat. It does remind me a little bit of the Joker tainting cosmetic products with Smylex to commit several murders. Sadly, unlike the movie, this real life case remains unsolved to this day.

It's funny looking back at old comments on this forum, isn't it? You look back and wonder "what the hell was I thinking?". Honestly, I still get embarrassed by some of the things I post right now.  :-[

I had never heard of that. Terrifying. And you're right, especially in this day and age. Greedy and misguided people are probably easier to find than they've ever been.

Yes it is. I've done it many times, like with old posts I made. Sometimes I'm like "Oh wow that was pretty smart of me" and then the next one is "oMg LiKe ThAt WaS sOoOoO cRaZy!*!*!*!" and I'm like "Aw hell."

I gotta go with Joker killing Bob. A brilliant moment that encapsulates everything about The Joker imo.
