I agree it is better to have a exellent Two-Face in 1 movie and not have it tampered with.
Yeah, like I say, anything is possible. I still think we won't be seeing Two Face again. Perhaps the scene with Batman dropping Maroni from a height was a foreshadowing? Maroni taunts Batman by saying from this height it would not kill, to which Batman replies that's what he's counting on.

Hummmm i never thought about it that way, That's somthing to think about.

Definitely. I?ve seen this film a few times to think of this stuff. Maybe a fourth viewing will lift more ideas to the surface.

But isn't this exactly what Tim Burton did in BR?
Indeed. Ledger's Joker has been trashed on this thread, so I'll even it up. Wanna get nuts? Let?s get nuts.

The Penguin is the single greatest problem with that film in my opinion - he's just TOO dark. You want to make him deformed, fine. It spices up the character (who's terribly boring in the comics). But don't make him some total freak raised by penguins in the sewer, who spits up black bile and eats raw fish. The most he should be deformed is his nose and hands (not the whole body). He should also be rather refined, having a taste for excellent food and clothes.

I always thought the Penguin should have been re-invented as the anti-Bruce Wayne. He could have been born slightly deformed, he was rejected by his parents until they were killed in an accident. He would then be played in some Dickensian orphanage, where he would waste away. He finally comes back to reclaim the wealth that should have been his through an underworld gang, in which he's the equivalent of a kingpin.

He wasn't raised by Penguins.  He wasn't raised in a sewer.

The guy clearly had no dental plan.  It doesn't bother me.

Quoteand eats raw fish.
He did so in the comics.

Excuse me? For the majority of his life, he was. He was thrown into the sewer as an infant. He joins the circus freak show much later.

I would saw the minority of his life at the most, infact I would say he was picked up by the circus very early or else he would be dead.

It is more likely that while he was found and taken in by the circus, he was kept with the penguins (abused), adopting their traits and eating habits - there is real world evidence to support something like that could happen so i find it quite realistic.

It would be great to see a backstory - how oswald took over the gang!

Now I would pay to see that. Even though I probably would have done Penguin differently, I find DeVito's version very different and mysterious.

Precisely. It is naturally a lot better in the film. I just posted them there because I liked it so much seeing it.

Ledger's delivery of this stuff, is simply fantastic.

I loved both of these stories he brought up about his scars.

And I doubt theres much truth in either. But that's just my own personal interpretation.
