surely catwoman will come with her whip, right? right?  :(

I wonder if the Batmobile is also in their plans. Judging by the '66 Batmobile, it will be almost of scale model quality, and at "only" $60 (roughly the same price with a PS3 game), it will offer a nice alternative to those that couldn't afford the mammoth batmobile by Hot Toys.

wouldnt their batmobile be a lot cheaper than the 66 one since the  66 one was done for the taller figures and these are four inches tall? or were those figures four inches tall too and i just dunno what the f*** i'm talking about? lol.

You're right, I didn't pay attention to that. 66 are 6" inches tall and 89/BR are 4. If one is used to decimal, 2 cm isn't a big difference, but 2 inches is a little more than 5 cm.

that's why i am so so excited about this especially the catwoman. it isn't those big ultra detailed ones that i would break if i sneezed on it lol. plus they're cheaper so i will have more chance to COLLECT EM ALL! like the commercials say. got to get her of course and i pretty much have to have batman too. penguin? eh. lol. but i wonder who else they are going to make. i wonder if johnnygobbs will get an ice princess figure! :o :P

i wish the batsy figure was his batman returns suit because it was better looking (idk about the rest of you but i thought the emblem looked so stupid with the extra points) but oh wells. at least they are making them. it's like a dream come true!

i need help (that doesn't require any further comment from the rest of you...). which is closer to 4 inches? the old batman figures like for the burton/schumacher movies and the cartoon or the star wars figures that were a bit shorter? trying to picture her in my hand.

The Star Wars figures are  3.75 inches in height so these will probably be closer to the old Batman movie figures.
Why is there always someone who bring eggs and tomatoes to a speech?

i just looked up dc multiverse figures on ebay and there are a few 4 inch figs on pre-order (no burton figs though) for $13. is that what these will probably retail for? :(

it's too bad Nicholson is a greedy bastard and wouldn't let them license his likeness as well for an affordable price.

Where did you hear that?
I've heard it through the grapvine many times, obviously for them to use his likeness they have to get approval or in Jack's situation pay him for his likeness. That is the reason that Hot Toys was able to do their Joker figure, but NECA wouldn't pay the amount requested to do a 1/4 scale figure, which is a HUGE shame.

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.
