Those scenes alone still don't make the film watchable for me though :-\

I'll return to this thread after I rewatch the film.

is that a hint that we need to have a rescue party set up in case you can't find your way back?

;D

Here's a suggestion.  Why don't we do a group commentary for this movie like we've done with Batman and Batman Returns?
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

Five points.

Gliding back to Gotham on the verge of space, ejecting from frozen Batmobiles, etc.
The overall, fun 'I don't give a beep' tone of the film. Take it or leave it.
The look of the vehicles and the expressionism of Arkham Asylum.
Goldenthal's score. Hopefully it sees the light of day via LaLa Land Records.
Michael Gough. The guy was a class act.

I'm sorry but I can't handle all of Arnold's ice-puns without going berserk ;D. Maybe for Batman Forever I could participate in a group commentary, but not for this flick  :)

I do like "nerdy" women. I like Selina's look in Batman Returns before she becomes Catwoman. Her look, personality and demeanor.

And the lines between Bruce and Alfred about death are great. I like both actor's acting in those scenes. Alfred is being subtle and implying that he's dying and Bruce understands. Neither says it but we know they know.

Arkham Asylum is great in the Schumacher movies. Very creepy. It's too bad Burton didn't use Arkham in his Batman movies. He'd have done a really good job with it I think.

Y'know why didn't burton use arkham in his films?I mean it seems like something he would have put in his films without questioning it yet it's not in there.
You ether die a trilogy or live long enough to see yourself become batman & robin

So you're into women who look repressed and act like doormats?

You didn't think Selina looked great in Batman Returns colors?

And not all 'nerdy' women are necessarily repressed and treated like doormats.
