1. The Godfather trilogy
2.Pulp Fiction
3.Star Wars
4.Back to the Future
5.Edward Scissorhands
6. Dr Strangelove
7. The Empire Strikes Back
8.The Shining
9. Aliens
10. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

01- The Godfather (first one)- Everybody has a boner for the Godfather Part II but for my money the first one is the better of the Godfather duology. Phenomenal cast, amazing script, there's literally nothing I would change about this film. Nothing at all.

02- Star Wars: A New Hope- I'm talking about the oh-riginal, unaltered version. As with the Godfather, there's just something about this thing. I can't take my eyes off it.

03- Apocalypse Now (theatrical cut rather than politicized director's cut)- I could watch those scenes with Sheen's voiceovers all day long. Amazing writing, amazing cast, amazing film.

04- Jaws- I was surprised to discover some people consider this a horror movie. I always thought of it as an adventure/thriller.

05- Casablanca- Do I even need to justify this?

06- Pulp Fiction- Do I even need to justify this?

07- Terminator 2- This was the first R-rated movie I saw in theaters. I loved that it amplified on the themes of the first one while upping the ante in other aspects of the narrative. Plus, the idea of playing a Terminator as a good guy was original at the time.

08- The Philadelphia Story- Cary Grant is the man!

09- The Abyss (theatrical cut rather than the preachy director's cut)- As with T2, the effects might seem a little primitive these days but they were visionary at the time and the cast all give wonderful performances.

10- Back to the Future- Michael J. Fox once said that BTTF is everything you go to the movies for. I have to agree.

What are the differences between Apocalypse Now director's cut and the normal one? Just curious...

The Time Machine (1960)
The Empire Strikes Back (Yes, Star Wars was THE original, but I like the slightly more polished sequel better)
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Return to OZ (1985 perfectly captures the feel of the books in spite of it's darker hues)
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
Army Of Darkness (again, turned into a comic AFTER the fact.)
Independence Day

That's all I can think of for now.

Why is there always someone who bring eggs and tomatoes to a speech?
