Hey all!

I love Burton Batman... I love toys...It stands to reason that I love toys based on the Burton Bat-films, and you might too. :) So I figured I would use this thread to link off of all the reviews my sons and I do that are Burton Bat-centric.

First, here are our 2 Hot Toys Reviews-

Hot Toys DX09 Michael Keaton Batman Review- http://www.1989batman.com/2012/01/merchandise-spotlight-hot-toys-dx09.html

Hot Toys DX08 Jack Nicholson Joker Review- http://www.1989batman.com/2012/03/merchandise-spotlight-hot-toys-dx08.html

Next, here are the links to our current roster of Kenner Toy Reviews (I will update this thread with more as we do them)-

Good stuff, as a kid I had figures by Toy Biz, but I love those images from Kenner you uploaded.

I had the ToyBiz Batman and Joker. My sister melted Joker on the cooker ring and my son now plays with Batman :-)

I loved that Dark Knight Collection from Kenner. Forget about that Toy Biz stuff, the Kenner line was the real tie-in with B89. I had a bunches of them. And I LOVED that Batmobile! The BR line was pretty comparable in terms of quality, except for the Penguin, which wasn't bad but wasn't DeVito-like at all, which ticked the 11 year old me off in a big bad way.

These Kenner action figures take me back to when I was a kid. I had a couple of Batman figures from both movies, like the arctic figure that could squirt water, the bat-looking scuba diva one and Robin, Joker and Penguin. I now wish I took better care of them.  :-[

I knew that even at the age of seven that they didn't have the DeVito version as an action figure because of fear of causing controversy. Then again didn't Pfeiffer's bondage-wearing Catwoman had a figurine?  :-[

The Batman Returns Hot Toys is long overdue.
QuoteJonathan Nolan: He [Batman] has this one rule, as the Joker says in The Dark Knight. But he does wind up breaking it. Does he break it in the third film?

Christopher Nolan: He breaks it in...

Jonathan Nolan: ...the first two.

The first time I had heard of" The Dark Knight" or "Legends of the Dark Knight" was because of these toy lines.
