Man after reading all of this i'm starting to reconsider not doing my cut at all

I'll say this, BatmanFanatic, I love that you've got passion for this film and for movie editing.  If you want to do your own cut of Batman Forever, don't let us stop you.  And heck, if you post clips here, I'll probably still watch them just to get a different viewing experience of the scenes, like I did with your reworked helicopter sequence.

I don't know if you're an aspiring editor, but if you are (and you certainly seem to have the skills and passion for it), I just feel like your time and effort will pay off much more on your own original film projects, than on re-editing an 18 year old movie.

Wow BatmAngelus thanks for the kind words it's really means alot  cause i been on this project since i 2010 and even made a rough cut of the entire film once which i won't go into cause i was just starting out and it'll be one heck of story how i got better but anyways reading this reply jolted my spirits up to recutting it again btw i'm kinda both i recut movies and write movies which i hope to ether direct or produce it depending on the budget and how to get actors for the film in the future so yeah thanks

O.o umm wow i'm gonna teaching someone how to recut a movie...ALRIGHT LET'S DO IT!!!

Okay first i'm gonna just put down a list on how to recut a movie and i'll do my best to make it simple as possible my feline friend.

1:The movie
This quite simple all you have to do is pick out a movie that you feel could have been better and take it into your own hand and re-do on how you think the movie should have been!

2:Editing system program
This is very important in when doing a recut cause in order to make a good recut your gonna need all the help you can get and there is alot of good programs that can help you achieve your goal in doing your cut i can reccomend a program that i'm using that has helped me in my videos and the program is videopad video editor it's quite the helpful program to edit stuff plus it's easy to use

3:Soundtrack & sound effects
Depending what on movie your editing you ether wanna mute the entire music when it plays and just replace the whole scene with sound effects and score which can work it's just gonna be hard though cause there are some scenes in movies where you want to keep a certain audio that's important ether to the story or dialog so what i would suggest is get AV Music Morpher Gold v5.0.41 which will allow you to deleted the entire music in the movie and replace it with new music "WARNING:DIALOG WILL STAY BUT SOUND EFFECTS MAYBE DELETED IN PROCESS SO YOU'LL JUST HAVE REPLACE THEM NEW SOUND EFFECTS IF YOU CAN"and it's easy to use as well.

4:Add & Deleting
Okay sometimes when a film is released there are certain scenes or shots that were not included in the final cut of the movie so you'll have to do your best and find every footage that was cut ether in trailers or in music videos and decide whether or not if they should be in the film,Deleting footage is pretty easy cause all you have to rewatch the movie your recutting and write down any thats ether harmful to the story or doesn't make any sense whatsoever then come back to the list and delete what you wrote down but if you know the movie by heart you'll know what to do.

5:Remixing
In some films there are certian scenes that are ether too plain or too slow for your taste and with creative thinking you can remix the scene by moving shots into different places to make the scene more interesting or more exciting like this for example

And that's pretty much too it but don't let it fool you cause sometimes you have to be really committed to the project and have to do your best :)i should know it took me a couple of weeks to figure out these things and i was 16 when i started and i did fan trailers first back in 08 cause i didn't know how to recut a entire film but eventually i did and you'll get the hang of it just like so many other fan editors and myself kay?
