I would give anything to get my hands on some newly designed figs from the burton films and so on, that would make my day!

I have given a name to my pain, and it is BATMAN.

Finding 89 items really isnt that difficult. There are some collectors on here, myself included, that may be able to help you out with something specific that you are looking for.

That would be great, but my problem is funds, Ive been broke since I lost my job.

Judging by the trend of things, the guy who said this would likely be a DC direct thing is definitely on to something. In recent years DC direct has released more and more figures that are further more unique in nature. Ex. Frank Miller's Batman animations have taken at least two figurine forms thus far that I own/know of. This includes the relatively new Allstar Batman figure.

I imagine that if this is going to happen, and might I add I believe it could and will happen, it's going to be a DC direct 20th anniversary deal. I mean petition or not, this film has held up for nearly twenty years now. With that being said, the film was obviously a fricken marketing machine. WB surely is aware that the market still exists today seeing as the film is still immensely popular.

The twelve inch petition is bold, admirable, and very much in high demand from fans like us. However, realistically, a typical 6-8 inch size with props is what DC direct would likely be looking to put on the shelves. Besides they know that people like us will buy it no matter what it is, hahaha.

I almost don't want to say this because it would be a dream come true, but the thought of McFarlane Burton Batman figurines, along with twelve inch variants would be the ultimate culmination of action figure culture and these awesome films.

I'd like to see a Batman variant of 89 called

'Battle Ravaged' Batman, who could come with a stand with a sculpt of part of a crashed batwing
This is the exact figure Ive always wanted!

You know, I had actually forgotten about it!
