Will La La Land reissue?

Trying to get my hands on the expanded Batman Returns score from La La Land and it's a pain in the ass frankly. Not an easy bugger to find now obviously. Anyone having a similar headache? What are the chances of La La Land putting out a reissue as they did with the popular animated series. Is there a demand for those who missed the boat? It appears slightly on ebay but at ridiculous prices.

I was lucky enough to nab Elfman's original Batman expanded score which in all honesty is a better deal than the sequel. Still, would want to hear the alternate cues and full movie score for Cobblepot and friends. Especially that excellent version of "Superfreak"!

If they are, you won't find out until as close to the release date as possible I'd wager. The best time to expect one would be around SDCC.

They've had an amazing selection of CDs, but the only problem is the price. The price is already jacked up to the max, and when releasing in such limited quantities, it's only bound to go up. Seeing Batman CDs going for upwards of $100 is just ridiculous. I love the music, but might have to rely on other means to actually get the tracks.

I will never buy a cd again unless it is used and cheap, otherwise download for $9.99 or less. Amazon frequently has new albums cheap, I scooped up the new Aerosmith for $5.99 (that is about what it is worth too). I want the remastered 89 and Forever but will never pay $20 or a CD ever again.

Gotta say I think downloading any kind of music is bloody boring. I'm a guy who likes his cool looking album covers, included band liner notes and photographs and all that business which is going anyway. I want to physical own an album and hold it in my damn hand. Digital downloads I consider a major threat to not only music but also comic books. I'd never want Marvel or DC to go exclusively with Digital comics following all those sh*t trends of today. I'd be furious and would be leading the protests (hope I wouldn't be alone on that subject...).

Agreed, nothing beats owning official physical copies, with artwork, liner notes, the embossed band logo on the digibook cover etc. etc. There are even people that love the smell of new books/CD booklets etc. it's all part of getting something, and not just the digital content in the shiny disc. PC boxes in the retro years (early-to-mid 90s) were nothing short of an epic production: big, with large manuals, maps, "feelies" etc. Call us "romantic", but the artwork and the packaging are part of the experience of getting a new game or a new album.

Downloading, however, CAN be a shortcut if something is very hard to get or out of print. I only have the Batman Returns souvenir magazine as an e-book. I' m still searching if someone scanned and shared the B'89/BR official movie books. I doubt WB loses money if anyone downloads these, unless they reprint them.

Downloading (paid and legal) is awesome. I don't need a wall full of cd's cluttering up the house, plus it is instant. That being said I own vinyl, cassettes, and a few 8 tracks. With some bands I agree I want the liner notes. I bought the physical cd's for The Beatles remasters. But I don't need or want them for all bands.

Yeah, that's the one. And the other for B'89

Got both of those. Essential purchases for Burton Batman fans.
