Some pretty impressive deep cuts there.

* Iceberg Lounge
* Axis Chemicals
* Shreck Towers

The actor playing the Joker was good. Leaning in to Mark Hamill with the voice a bit, but that's not a bad thing.

That reading of Batman being afraid to kill because he can't stop rings very true to me. In fact, that's the only way I can see him not killing someone. Because he wouldn't stop with just one. But I don't think he'd ever say so out loud to anyone. Least of all the Joker. Good character moment tho.

Bat in the Sun have released their latest Batman fan film titled Dying is Easy. The cast includes Casper Van Dien as Gordon, Michael Madsen as Bullock and Doug Jones (the Thin Clown in Batman Returns) as the Riddler. The production values are very impressive.

Production values are the best thing about it.
I have the upmost respect for the people who make these short movies. They've done a remarkable job in capturing the atmosphere of Batman. The actor playing the Joker wasn't to my tastes but that's not a dealbreaker. Very well done overall.

I've always thought a good opponent for Keaton's Batman in a versus battle would be the live-action Shredder from the nineties TMNT movie trilogy. Not just because they were appearing in CBMs around the same time, but because their height, weight and skill levels would make for an even matchup.

Evidently I'm not the only person who thinks this, as Bat in the Sun productions is making a Burton Batman vs. Shredder '90 film as part of their Super Power Beat Down series.

American actor and martial artist Jason Faunt has been cast as the Burton Batman. Faunt previously played the Red Ranger in several Power Rangers TV shows.

Of course this won't be the first time Batman and the Shredder have faced off against each other.

Bat in the Sun posted some lighting test shots of Jason Faunt in the batsuit. Apparently the costume was created by our own site member, Reevz666.

I hope Batman wins the first round, and then Shredder transforms into Super Shredder for round two.

I choose to take this literally. B89 Batman vs. 1990 Shredder.

It's... tough to say. On the one hand, I would never bet against B89 Batman. And yet, he had his work cut out for him against the strong man in the belfry. It is possible for him to be overwhelmed, at least for a while. He might need a moment to get his equilibrium back.

At the same time, 1990 Shredder is obviously mad, bad and dangerous to know. Not someone to be trifled with. He effortlessly took on the turtles, dropping them easily. His weakness might be his temper. Splinter knew good and well what would happen when he unmasked himself as the rat that scarred Shredder. Sure enough, Shredder got triggered, charged Splinter and... that was all she wrote (because in my continuity, there are no sequels to 1990) (except maybe the animated TMNT).

If Shredder gains the upper hand early on, he might be able to overwhelm 89 Batman. But if Batman figures out that Shredder can become emotionally compromised, he might be able exploit that weakness and then press the advantage.

So, a beat down between those two could go either way.
