Batman 89 Champagne Birthday!!!

While I know that everyone is looking forward to the celebration of Batman Returns 20th anniversary.  I thought that this would be a good opportunity to remind everyone who is unaware that on June 23rd it will mark Batman 89's champagne birthday.  Meaning that this is the 23rd anniversary on the 23rd day of June, on the 23rd year.  I am definitely going to try and celebrate both anniversaries on their respective dates.

Happy Batman 89 Champagne Birthday !!!

Today marks the 23rd anniversary of Batman 89 which happens to land on the same day of the same year. And to celebrate this anniversary, I'm going to be watching the film and it's documentaries all night.

Anyone else doing anything to mark this special occasion?

I'm working unfortunately! But for the past week now, my 2 year has been acting out the movie from the museum rescue to the alley fight.

He is Batman and I play The Joker, Vicki, Bob and the other goons. Great fun. He even does the finger beckon when I pretend to hold a knife like Bob.

Happy birthday to the film we all have to "blame" for being here, not to mention the film that is also to "blame" for the existence of the trilogy that ends on July 19th. So far, 2012 has been a fun year for being into comics and stuff - let's hope it remains so to its conclusion.
