Yeah know im not to knee on having batman and robin release
you ever dance with the devil on a pale moon light

My copy has not arrived yet.

I have a question about the score layout by Goldenthal. Are the tracks in order as they appear on the screen?

For the most part, but a few are moved around.

Well, that seems annoying and pointless to me. I have no idea why Goldenthal went that route.

What was his logic behind this? Is it explained in the booklet?

Then rip it onto your computer and/or ipod and make a chronological playlist.
I already did that with batman and batman returns that takes hours its not fun then I burned it to a blank cd yes I only used one cd

It's his preferred listening experience. It's so easy to re-organize the tracks in iTunes to make a new playlist it's really a non-issue.

Wait, so the cues are actually pure as to what is heard on the screen, nothing extra added or deleted from them, just some presented in a different track order? Hmm. I must have misinterpreted the point being made. Alright. I can deal with that.

Nice review Paul. Even though it's far from a "definitive" musical representation of Batman (and the "fledermausmarsch" can get on your nerves when it's repeated for the 100th time), it's still one of my favourite scores. Nowadays I even like the movie quite a bit.
