First one was a decent action film, second was was all over the place, this one may look a little better but at the same time could be more of the same.

As someone who has been a TF fan since '84 all i can say is "Blech".
Bay makes dumbed down action films.  They don't work from a G1 perspective, they barely work as movies period.
I want something smarter.

I agree with that comment, but I guess the bottom line is that these films make a lot of money and sometimes that's all that matters.
