This is so hard!!! lol But if I had to pick two, it'd be Descent Into Mystery and Up the Cathedral....

For me it would be Attack of the Batwing (or Batwing II and III as the complete CD names it) and the Batman Theme.

Oooh... this is tricky. From the top of my head it would be The Main theme, Up the Cathedral and The Finale

This is tough. But it comes down to these two:

Cathedral Chase
Waltz to the Death

Both capture their respective character impeccably.

That is one of the toughest questions concerning the soundtrack, I love it all to be completely honest, however it seems that The Batman theme, descent into mystery, waltz to the death, up the cathedral, attack of the batwing and the love theme, stnads out for a lot of people, not only online, but people I've spoken too as well.

Cathedral and Descent into Mystery have always been the all-time favs. However, I agree that the score for the first Batman is the rare breed of soundtrack that has an almost 100% "listenability factor" - the music as a standalone listen is a treat from start to finish with no need for the skip button. For example, as much as I love Returns, there's a few tracks in it that I just can't stand on CD
