So says Superhero Hype's main page.

If this rumour is accurate, I'm hoping Hardy will play Black Mask/Roman Sionis.
Johnny Gobs got ripped and took a walk off a roof, alright? No big loss.

Good actor and black mask is a villain I've alway wanted to see on a Batman film.

I figured he'd take a part in this. Hopefully, there will be no Joseph Gordon Levitt.

Cool beans.

Solid addition to the cast.
"Imagination is a quality given a man to compensate him for what he is not, and a sense of humour was provided to console him for what he is."

I'm fine with this. Here's hoping he plays Black Mask.

I'd like a villain smorgasboard - Riddler, Catwoman, Scarecrow (cameo), etc.

Looks it has been confirmed that The Lizard is the villain in the Spider-Man reboot. There's NO WAY now that Nolan is gonna do Killer Croc in the third Batman film, unless they want to look totally stupid up against this. I do like the idea of him being Black Mask. If we could also get Riddler as the main villian and Catwoman as the love interest, we're in business. If Nolan is just going to go off of the actors that were in Inception, I certainly hope, as I said before, no Joseph Gordon Levitt as Riddler. He looks TOO much like Ledger. MAYBE he could do a small little cameo as The Joker, a la Cillian Murphy in The Dark Knight, but that's a BIG maybe. I could see Marion Cotillard as Catwoman, but I hope more for Nolan making a few suprise casting choices for those characters.

Come to think of it, they could based their story on the Hush storyline...

Isn't Killer Croc one of those villians who will never appear in Nolanverse?

I think that was started as a joke by Mark Millar.

And to be honest...a Nolanised Croc would be a step to far for me.

I like the idea of a Hush adaption...it has all the players that everyone has been wanting to see.

Absolutely, ral. If Nolan thought that The Joker's origin of bleaching his white skin in chemicals was not realistic enough, then surely Killer Croc should be in the same category.

Killer Croc is not going to happen. It's nothing more than fan speculation garbage. A New Orleans shoot is on the cards, and people instantly assume water and crocodiles. And if they did him, which they won't, it'd be a skin disease explanation, sans the tail. But still with a hunger for flesh.

I can see either Black Mask, Riddler, Catwoman, Hugo Strange and Scarecrow popping up in this. Or all of them. No team-ups, all spread out. Say, Strange is the main man looking into Batman's whereabouts, and private investigator E.Nigma, obviously not called The Riddler, but wearing a green jacket, or some subtle ? insignia on his tie or something, is sent out to follow up these leads. Black Mask could be trying to take over the fragile mobs in Batman's absence, and at the same time Catwoman taking over home grown crime fighting duties.
