You've just been consulted to decide Bruce's new look when he returns...

Here's a look at six covers from the upcoming "Return of Bruce Wayne" arc.

"Imagination is a quality given a man to compensate him for what he is not, and a sense of humour was provided to console him for what he is."

Cheesy covers.

The last one is the best, but even then it doesn't really work.

That sort is image is classic Batman, but I don't see how assassins could miss from that range.

Or how Batman could live from those shots.

Heh, you must really be enjoying Grant Morrison's run on Batman.  ;D

Certainly wouldn't be the first time realism be damned in a superhero comic.

Which, to be perfectly honest, isn't a bad thing!

No comment for the first, LOL.

The second "puritan look" reminds me of Solomon Kane mixed with Castlevania, which is cool  ;)

I think a Pirate Bat has already been done as elseworlds, and better (he didn't have a beard I think).

I think a Cowboy Bat has also been done before in EW (Blue, Grey and the Bat?), illustrated by Jose Garcia Lopez (the one that did the Returns comic adaptation)

Since this looks like they wanted to make a Batman spanning several historic periods, this look even cheesier in a different way: it's like saying that after Prehistoric Grunts came the puritans, then the pirates, and then the cowboys  ::).

I don't know what to make of this, reminds me why I stopped following monthly comics many years ago  ;D
