Don't know about you, I'm fairly excited about this R.E. Howard adaptation. The feedback this movie got the last few months has been positive, and the trailer looks promising.

not sure what to make of it

I know the subject matter recalls some not... very good films to mind (Van Helsing and BloodRayne to name a few), but I think it deserves a chance as a different kind of comic/pulp adaptation.

I've heard the feedback from this over the past few months especially over ar AICN, however I have a bad feeling that people will see this as sort of a Van Helsing/Blade ripoff, without truly knowng the story, and because of this reason it may not perform well at the box office. It's a shame because it could actually be a good/very good film.
