weird maybe but since the vhs came out shortly after the films run i've gone to the tape or dvd whenever wanting to watch this,  probably every time - 

i could never deal with commercials during this movie - or deal with anything less than the true complete version of it every time

normal tv isn't ever good enough for this movie

TV is so bizzarre with its editing. They can show, portray, or give the impression of essentially any and every kind of violence known to man, however even a boarderline swearword must be stricken from the air!
