The shape looked more catlike than other versions. Also the show came out before Batman Begins, so they weren't copying Nolan's look. The West connection is in the shape of the cowl. The nose is barely a point and the forehead is round like a dome with ears, for lack of a better discription.  I included the two picture because I don't describe things very well. Side by side it's obvious they aren't carbon copies, but I see some influence.

Hmmm. Then perhaps the suit is a combo of the West & B:TAS "New Look" suit. Not to mention that the bat in the yellow elipse is designed after the emblem on West's Batmobile.

But then again, Batman has worn short-eared cowls similar to the one in The Batman.

That show made nods to practically evry other incarnation of the character. In the first episode, Joker had a balloon filled with his Joker Gas, similar to Batman 89. Penguin has some similarities to DeVito, The hyper styling of the show reminded me of Schumacher's Batman movies only not quite as obnoxious, and Alfred had a line about the new batmobile in season three that was similar to Alfred's first line in Batman and Robin. Joker had a pirate Tv show at one pont and when Batman showed up and fought his goons, the obligatory POW! and Whap! made appearances. The fireman poles around the cave, The shakespeare bust, even the Penguin-Catwoman team-up was suspicious.
I can't think of any more right now. It's late, and I'm signing off.
Why is there always someone who bring eggs and tomatoes to a speech?

Yeah, I just noticed now that The Batman had no many references to the movies and the TV series! ;D
Well, for me it was a great show in overal. But no other show will pass B:TAS - Th best superhero TV show ever! :D
Batman Arkham Asylum: The Batman game the fans were waiting for.
