I'm just curious...

Dracula
Frankenstein
The Wolfman (love Elfman's Score)
Ghostbusters  (I bet it would be better than the remake we're getting)
The Shadow
The Addams Family
Casper
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Dr. Jenkyl and Mr Hyde
Star Wars sequel
Mask of the Phantasm
A Detective/Film Noir type of film set in the 40's
A Hitchcock style film

Basically anything from Universals Horror/Monster films as listed above or Hammer Horror films.

That would be awesome. The The Addams Family and Casper movies already remind me very much of Burton and Elfman's work.

I love Casper by the way. I think it's a very touching movie from the mid-1990's that I feel is under appreciated. I love Dan Aykroyd's cameo as Ray the Ghostbuster too.

A Burton Star Wars film would be interesting, and surprisingly right up his alley. Star Wars is rooted in fathers and sons, and Burton's material deals heavily with childhood. A SW flick leaning on the Sith side of things would be pretty awesome, satisfying his darker tastes.

I would've loved it if he directed any of those films with an Elfman soundtrack, especially a Star Wars film, The Addams Family, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde or Frankenstein.
