The Terrible Trio

Here's another great episode of Batman: The Animated Series. This time, an obscure group of villains from the 50s, known as the Terrible Trio, are revived. Unlike Mr. Freeze, however, they didn't receive too much of a change, but the story still works.

Of the few changes that were made, there were more motifs relating to each of the member's elements, which was clever. But one of the most original things about the villains was their motive; they didn't have any. They were all spoiled rich kids out to get a thrill by breaking the law. It's nice to see them interact with Bruce outside of their personas, demonstrating how wealth has effected both of them.
