Here is a rare interview with Siouxsie & The Banshees discussing their music video Face to Face and the film Batman Returns.

i loved the little black kitty! and siouxsie meowing with her, hahaha

thanks for posting. this was like f***ing AWESOME!!! i so love this song. and the vid. and the movie. yea.

It was only in this video interview I realised that Budgie (the drummer) hails from my home city of Liverpool. I think our city's music industry should make more noise about his participation in a group as iconic as the Banshees. I never really hear it spoken of. He's not the only "scouser" in the shadow of the bat either. Carl Chase played a Joker goon and he often pops up in theatre around my city. My Batman and Alien 3 merchandise is prepared to be signed lol

I wish somebody would ask Siouxsie what she thinks of Anne Hathaway's Catwoman. Something tells me she was pretty disappointed second time around if she's ever bothered to see Rises. There is a magazine interview on the Banshees Facebook page from 1992 in which she revealed she has always loved the Batman comics but was disappointed with certain aspects in the first movie. Take a guess which....yep, Vicki Vale. Not surprising really is it? She doesn't seem Siouxsie's type but still I'm a firm supporter of Ms Basinger's character. Not all the women in Batman should be tough it can get a little dull. Her being terrified of the Joker seemed to make him scarier and the situation of his lust for her funnier than having her knee him pathetically in the groin as Rachael Dawes did. Nicholson's Joker would have given her the hand buzzer in 2 seconds in his film.

On the Banshees Facebook page Budgie and Steven Severin's costumes in this vid are utterly reviled! They don't seem to understand they were meant to be "Penguin goons". Hilariously when the Banshees attended the Batman Returns UK premiere Budgie decided to turn up in THAT costume lol Of course the fanbase groaned in disgust but I think he was just getting into the spirit of Batman by doing so.
