It's truly amazing when something new is discovered about this film.  I was thinking about the winter in Gotham City and realized that it is the perfect season for the Penguin.  Burton, truly captured the motif of the penguin by having the film take place during the winter and christmas season.  Also, considering that penguins are genuinely cold blooded creatures and live in colder environments.  "My name is not Oswald, its Penguin."  "I am not a human being, I am an animal, cold blooded." "Crank the A.C."

Yeah, good observation man! :D It gives a singular feel to the movie.
Batman Arkham Asylum: The Batman game the fans were waiting for.
