This should be a fine installment and improve over the last one, i'm glad it's going back to R-rated basics as the franchise intended.

I think my concern is that its only 97  minutes long, making it the shorted Die Hard movie, all others were over two hours. I guess we should just see action, action, action, let's hope there's still a decent story.

HUGE Bruce Willis fan here. Will definitely be seeing this puppy at the movies !
"Bats frighten me. It's time my enemies shared my dread."

Actually I rather enjoyed Die Hard 4.0 (as UK audiences know it as). Matter of fact I thought it was a lot better than the fourth Indiana Jones which was a shock to say the least. Like Rocky Balboa I enjoyed John McClane's annoyance and utter lack of respect for "modern world" sh*t such as music and computers. Made for an interesting and funny subject: "Yeah, I know I'm not as smart as you will all this computer sh*t...." lol It's just a shame the main villain was too weak (on a sympathetic and physical level) compared to Rickman, Irons and William Sadler even.

In Planet Hollywood in Times Square New York, Bruce Willis' costumes from the first three Die Hard's are on display in a massive gallery in chronological order. Even featuring the gold bars from Die Hard With a Vengeance lol

anyone see this yet? Curious because it's getting bad reviews.

I saw it opening weekend. I love the Die Hard series. I'd rank the first movie on my top ten favourite films list.

But I'm afraid the critical backlash against A Good Day to Die Hard is entirely justified. It's easily the worst entry in the series, and by a very large margin.  :(
